The EGA is dedicated to forming the strongest possible bond between the entertainment creatives around the world and the globalization industry that "re-tells" their stories for different cultures and languages around the world. By working together, we can find new ways to engage the creative community and foster their participation without adding friction to the process of making content. Our members come from all parts of the entertainment globalization industry and come from all disciplines within the creative "re-telling" stories globally. We have three primary memberships available; General Memberships for companies that provided globalization as vendors, Individual Members that work as professionals in the industry, and corporate sponsorship members. Individual Member
Eligibility: This membership is for individual professionals (freelancers only) that provide globalization services to the entertainment industry. This includes translators, subtitlers, voice actors, dubbing directors, adaptors etc.

Corporate Sponsored Individual Member
Eligibility: This membership is for full-time employees of general members and is valid as long as you maintain your employment with this employer and your employer's membership is active. Sign-up with corporate email for approval required.

Academic Member
Eligibility: This membership is for current tenured or adjunct professors and researchers affiliated with an institution of higher learning in the field of linguistics, translation, or localization.

Student Member
Eligibility: This membership is for current students affiliated with an institution of higher learning studying the field of linguistics, translation, localization, film, cinema or production. Validation of current enrollment required.

Creative Artist Member
Eligibility: This membership is for members of the creative community. This includes show runners, writers, producers, agents, etc.
Benefits: Inclusion in individual member directory, access to newsletters, virtual town halls, consumer insights, online education modules, job board, member-only online community, and member database, invitations to industry events and special events.
This membership type is available to executives involved in the localization of entertainment content whose employers aren't EGA member companies. Examples of suitable candidates for this membership are; studio operations executives, studio localization executives, game studio executives, platform operations executives, post production executives and other executives who participate in localization procurement and operations.
