    Javier Foncillas, Vice President, Commercial Partnerships—Europe, leads the Dolby team that is responsible for broadcaster, operator, and OEM licensing relationships and associated revenues across Europe, as well as the field technical support staff and sales operations team. Javier joined Dolby in 2012, bringing significant experience after having spent over 20 years in the entertainment industry. At Dolby, he started leading the Southern Europe team and, in 2016, his role expanded to include all Europe, Russia, and Turkey. Javier has led his team to a number of successes at Dolby across Europe, from launching one of the first Dolby Atmos® services with Orange, to the first on-air trials of Dolby® AC-4 in Spain, France, Poland and Nordics. Javier has helped foster the Dolby ecosystem from Live Sports in UK, Germany and France to an increase in the number of Atmos streaming productions in Europe. Nowadays, he is excited about bringing the Dolby Atmos technology to areas like the automotive, gaming and the music industry as well to consolidate the home content development. Javier has a degree in electrical engineering and an MBA in industrial administration from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

    As part of the Dolby Content Relations team based in Burbank, California, Rich is responsible for driving strategic partnerships and adoption by the Hollywood studios with a focus on Dolby technologies for the Home. With a long-standing Home Entertainment industry background including positions at Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. Rich joined Dolby in 2014 to initially help drive the adoption of the innovative new HDR video technology, Dolby Vision, followed by transitioning of Dolby Atmos immersive audio from Cinema to the Home.

    Tom McAndrew is Sr Technical Manager for Content Relations at Dolby Laboratories, evangelizing Dolby Atmos technologies to the creative community. Prior to Dolby, Tom was Professional Tools Manager at DTS, and Audio Department Manager at the Sony Pictures Digital Authoring Center. sBefore that, he was a sound designer at Henninger Video specializing in documentaries, most notably for Discovery’s military aviation series “Wings” and the Emmy-nominated “Vietnam POW’s – Stories of Survival”. He was also an Attractions performer with a prop gun at Walt Disney World, which accounts for the mild high frequency hearing loss in his right ear. Tom is a Syracuse University graduate and lives in Northridge, CA with his amazing son and worthless guinea pigs.
